1. Active response is useful in dealing with any old threat, Laz.

2. "Don't tread on me" was used to accent the idea of active response. Glad to hear you're on board.

3. The court decision will not stand and I think you know that. Actually, it was a pretty bad week for politically active atheists, if you ask me. I think the ruling stirred the majority of the country from sleepy indifference to atheists and caused them to feel a teensy bit LESS tolerant.
The guy who brought the case on behalf of his daughter (who he doesn't want to be involved?) seems to be a political activist who operates in the courts - the public backlash should give Bush increased leverage on the judge issue in the Senate and, finally, the voucher decision by the Supremes yesterday must be driving atheists nuts - not to mention the public education establishment.
