I don't know if you've been following OFX, but the point is that it is open, so users can sign up for bill payment with whoever they want. The issues are slightly different for receiving electronic bills - there, as has been discussed before, there is a single server that Quicken connects to whoever is hosting the bills for the biller.

You're right about QuickBooks. Lots of good stuff to come, watch this space.
