Two would be ideal, especially if they are about the same age, or within a year of each other. I had a most excellent book on dog training back when I trained my best dog ever (1971). Can't recall what it was. Someone recommended this book to me (you maybe?). I think I shall order it tonight. amazon.com ~Smithee
