I did not say that the government makes anti-God rhetoric. I was objecting to Laz's interpretation of the constitution which gives the government an anti-God obligation.

"The gov'ts within the US should not be "in line" with ANY God. Or gods. Or lack thereof."

Personally, I think I am being nit picky; this is aside from the pledge argument but its a slow evening.
