MindSpring Builds Point of Presence in Dallas/Fort Worth

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 8, 1998--MindSpring Enterprises, Inc.
(Nasdaq: MSPG) today announced it has built an Internet Point of Presence (POP)
in Dallas/Fort Worth and is beginning to move customers from the third-party
network it had been utilizing for its Metroplex customers. The new facility features
state-of-the-art 3Com USRobotics networking equipment and supports the new
v.90 protocol for 56K modem connections.
MindSpring currently offers service in the following Texas cities:
Austin, Abilene, Amarillo, Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Fort Worth, Houston, Lubbock,
Midland, San Angelo, San Antonio, and Waco.
