My first reaction to this Videonics product is to scratch my head at the following:

"This parallel port connection also, for the very first time ever, allows laptop computer owners to capture full motion video. "

Just how "full motion" can it be over a parallel port? You'll either have thumbnail size pictures or extremely poor frame rates because of the poor bandwidth. Either that, or you'll have to jack that compression ratio up so high that your pictures will look lousy.

I can't wait for the AGP port to finally make it into PCs. That and cheap MPEG-2 encoding will finally bring video capture to a reasonable level.
