One way of inflating is massive tax cuts. "Permanent" ones. Unfunded ones.

In general, lower taxes achieve many good things. But I am not sure if there is a solid link between tax rates and inflation.

I would argue that in a situation where you have high inflation, lower taxes would lower inflation, as the economy gets more efficient and rewards suppliers for increasing supply. Also, a lot of corporate taxes are just passed to consumers in higher prices, so lower taxes should reduce prices.

I don't know about these relationships in a deflationary environment.
