Basic SpecInt/SpecFP comparisons : Intel/Compaq-DEC/Sun.

The Digital chips kick butt completely + it gives you the option of running UNIX, NT or VMS; even runs x86 binaries natively on the alpha (opcode conversion on the fly). Intel/Sparc trade off between SpecInt and SpecFP.
