Interesting that Bill Clinton assists Dubai with the port deal while Hillary opposes it, and in fact is taking legislative steps to make sure it doesn't go through.

I suppose it is not a legal conflict of interest, but it surely could be argued that one of the motives for her opposition would be to allow Bill's advice to be bought at a no doubt handsome price.

No way, those two? She wouldn't be relaying inside information to him concerning how her leadership of the fight in the Senate against the deal might just, poof, go away? Hush your mouth, no way, that is not how those two utterly honest types operate, is it?

Despite the fact that she would otherwise be able to change her mind on the merits of the deal, she cannot do so now as her feet are set in concrete thanks to Bill's involvement. Or unless 'significant concessions' are made thanks to Bill's stewardship.

I think they've stepped into it politically. Greed in going after the serious petrobucks Bill is undoubtedly being paid got in the way of good sense.

Wonder how Hunter Thompson would write it up?

The GOP piranhas are going to have a field day.
