talking about random topics... Anyone here pay AMT tax since 2004? it is a federal tax on upper middle class and up individuals. Accountants often mis-compute the true liability thus costing taxpayers unnecessary monies. Even fixed income seniors or retirees have fallen into the AMT trap ... this may occur when they would sell a rental property or a vacation home in a given year and realize a big gain. you know anyone in this category? let me know. afterall who wants to pay extra hundreds or thousands to the IRS
