Steve--I think Wstl will announce major RBOC contract next week. I sold all my Wstl and bought Amtx.(I would appreciate any feeback on this strategy.) The conversion is .9. I got a 8% premium and if a bidding war develops over Amtx, it will be a great. I don't think Alcatel and Coms will sit by and let Wstl conrner the standard and DMT and VDSL. If the deal goes through, I believe that Wstl could be at 100 by Dec. 98. Remember, Wstl already had contracts with Lucent, BA, and DoD(Dept of defense). Full scale ADSL deployment is only months away, IMO. Emile
