It would not be unreasonable to expect a 20% or more correction in the next two years... The question is 20% from here, or 20% from a plateau that is 30% higher than current prices?

Generally, betting on the short side of the market is a losing proposition because the market has an average 10% upward bias over time... The best approach is dollar cost averaging... Keep putting money into the market over time... It is a more proven method of wealth accumulation than trying to time the market... The other area of great significance is Asset Allocation... Proper Asset Allocation combined with dollar cost averaging has been shown to be a more effective method of investing than trying to time the market...
