Warren Jackson, President and CEO of Altachem Pharma Ltd. is pleased to announce that Dr. Madi R. Madiyalakan has joined the management team at Altachem Pharma as Senior Scientific Advisor.
Dr. Madiyalakan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, a Masters and Ph.D. in Biochemistry and a certificate in Management Development. He also holds an adjunct position at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Alberta. He is the author of more than 40 publications and eight patent applications.
Dr. Madiyalakan brings more that 20 years of academic research and biotechnology experience to Altachem Pharma. He was a member of the management team that founded AltaRex Corp. (served as Vice-President, Planning and Chief Scientific Officer) and CanBiocin Inc. (served as President and CEO). Prior to that Dr. Madiyalakan served in various capacities at Biomira Inc. and Biomira Research Inc. including that of Director, Biotechnology R&D.
Mr. Jackson believes with Dr. Madiyalakan’s combined scientific, clinical trial and business experience and his extensive HPB, FDA and international regulatory agency knowledge it will bring Altachem Pharma to meet the next level of corporate development to conduct and achieve business success globally. In turn, this will be a major benefit to our shareholders and the community in which we live by developing new and improved pharmaceutical products to enhance the quality of life globally.
