Thanks for posting your selections, always great food for thought.

I'm thinking of buying a small cap index ETF before the week is out. In '03 I bought IWM (the Russell 2000) and did OK, but I'm wondering if I'd get a better bang out of IWO (Smallcap Growth Index) or IWN (Smallcap Value Index). I'm guessing the growth side will have more of the beaten down plays in it but to be honest, I'm not familiar enough with smallcaps to tell by looking at the component lists. In any case, both have had quite the run, and their demise has certainly been predicted, but I'm guessing many fund managers, as well as civilians, will chase performance as they reallocate into the new year. It will be imperative to get out before they do.

Also thinking about playing some larger caps that have been beaten down such as SNDK, CDN, and UVN.

Thoughts from anyone on the thread would be greatly appreciated - TIA
