Andrew, what a pleasure to find this thread. Even though I have absolutely no interest in U.S. stocks, and I spend most of my time trapping beaver and drinking cases of Moosehead, I just love you people. I mean, you're all so smart . . . all that technical talk and earnings per share and such.

But really, the reason I'm so happy tonight is that us Canadians, we're sort of a peaceful, reserved people - not aggressive and feisty like you Yanks. Things over at that other thread were just getting too darn nasty for my liking. Here's hoping that we can keep this thread civilised (<---- note the Canuck spelling).

I raise my glass (actually it's a bottle) to you and say thank you from the Great White North!

P.S. Is it okay to update my Canadian picks here? I won't if you feel they'd be of no interest to anyone.
