Gore's reservations about attacking Iraq too hastily without UN support and evidence to convince the world we are doing the right thing is not only right, but is agreed upon by the majority of the American people. Rushing into a war not only makes you a hawk it makes you a fool. And maybe a corrupt fool. Caution will not cost us anything and may save us tremendous lives and dollars. Not to mention our international reputation. Gore's speech, along with Kerry''s, Generals and Powell's infighting forced Bush to go to the UN. And most people are glasd he did. In fact the UN speech is said to be one of Bush's finest moments, when he backed down from his overly hawkish stance and started dealing with reality.
