are you saying that after enditall you can not shut down? Yes.I only use enditall in the same manner as you do.<G> Either one of two things happen. It stops at the window shutting down screen but will not automatically ....nor manually power off. This is a minor problem as I can cut power via the battery backup. Occasionally it would hang up earlier in the shutdown process and I would end up with just a blinking cursor (like a dos screen). Seems clear that I have a program not protected in the enditall program that is needed for shutting down the computer.<G> Bob
