Chi-X. I have another question. If I have $10000.00 cash to invest, Can I buy 416 shares of ASND at $33.00 (Total $13728 = 416*33) and sell JAN 2000 40 covered call at $9.00 (total $3744 = 416*9). So I have 416 shares in my account and I have no margin call ($13728 - $3744 = $9984 total investment < $10000.00). I can hold till year 2000: If ASND > $40/sh. My return is (416 * 40 - 10000)/10000 = 66.4% ) If ASND >33 & < 40. My gain is $3744 + (Stk Price - 33)*10000. If ASND > 24 7 < 33. I still have gain. If ASND < 24. I have lost. Is there anything wrong with is $10000.00 own 416 shares stk? thanks a lot.
