Larry, I have two charting programs, Powertrader and Window on Wall Street professional version.....My Powertrader program gives a better chart picture of the last 2-3 years on a stock, while the WOW program takes a more immediate look of the last 6 months...I usually use the WOW program to determine which professional trading programs are the best for the security I am studying...However, to see chart patterns, the Powertrader program is better....If you take a look at the chart of PRLN the last 2 years, you will see a classic Head and Shoulders Top...A left shoulder, a head, and a right shoulder...I believe the head was around 7.00....If you can pick out these patterns early, you can ride the head or one of the shoulders, or you can wait until the pattern is completed, before trying to ride a new up or downtrend....Sorry to waste this space, but I love TA.....Mark |
