an excellent point Jorj. he is very much benefiting from a diseased press. but like i said, i agree with most of what he says politically.

and i post here because i find myself in complete agreement with just about everyone that posts here. but i am considered by many the right wing fringe extreme! at least as far as i understand right and left wing. i have no allegiance to any political party anymore. i was raised a democrat, turned republican and then went my own way from there. now i guess i'd mostly be libertarian, but i think i have a few disagreements with them too. for instance, i believe they want isolationism. but where is the freedom in that? they shouldn't have a policy like that. they should be open to every situation.

this is how right wing i am.. i believe in freedom. i believe in freedom in every way. freedom of the press, freedom of religion, freedom of markets, political and personal freedom. to be free enough to fail. i believe that freedom makes us all stronger and also more moral in the long run. and i don't want the freedom of anarchy, i want the freedom that comes from rights and principles that support freedom. i don't want my freedom to encroach on anyone else's freedom, nor theirs on mine.

so, i believe that everyone benefits the more freedom there is. and i understand that there is a price to be paid for freedom. the price among other things includes vigilance, hard work and yes, suffering. i think we should all understand that and be willing to accept that price for the greater benefit it bestows.

i believe it is the responsibility of our government to protect our freedom as well as our person. i want government to be stern and tell the idealists and all others that the government can't help anyone. others can, but the government can't. however, government can and should provide a fertile environment for business. but that is all it should do regarding business. and it would be more than enough. businesses could then provide the strongest economy the world could ever see.

did i just go off on a rant? :) it does put me pretty far to the right, doesn't it?
