No, it isn't. Tim said it and I sort of agreed with him.

There is the possibility of the war getting messy, and us losing some people. There WILL be Iraqi civilian casualties; but the Iraqis will gladly pay that price for their freedom.

The upside is so great that the downside, whatever it is, will be tolerable. Besides, shrinking from our responsibility would be a disaster. The world looks to the United States to take up righteous causes; should we fail to do so, third rate dictators all over the world will be challenging us.

It isn't as though we're going to go burn Iraq to the ground. It will be more in the nature of killing the Republican Guard and Saddam & his advisors. Then, it will be over.

Better just to go and get it done.
