Comments to REFR Shareholders from Joe Harary re: Trade Show
[bolding is mine]

Research Frontiers and our licensee for SPD "smart" aircraft windows,
InspecTech Aero Service, recently attended the sold out Aircraft
Interiors Show in Long Beach, California. This year, a record number of
people from the aircraft industry attended this show, which is the
industry's largest event of its kind. We thought you might like to read
the InspecTech's update about the show which can be found on their web
site at:

inspectech.net

Please also make sure to visit the rest of their web site where
InspecTech has included more information and a video about their SPD
smart aircraft window, their growing list of strategic partners for it's
development, and the many benefits that SPD aircraft windows offer
including:

-substantial fuel and weight savings
-increasing an aircraft's flying range
-protection against glare, heat and UV radiation
-increased passenger and flight crew comfort and control over the cabin
environment
-lower maintenance costs
-reliable operation over the life of the aircraft (tested to 100 million
on-off cycles)
-increased interior cabin width
-cost effective solution compared to other aircraft shading devices
-centralized control as well as individual passenger control

In response to questions asked at the show, InspecTech has indicated
that they are on a fast-track for FAA certification, they already have
customers lined up,
and expect to have a LearJet Model 35 flying with
SPD aircraft windows within the next 30-45 days, with other aircraft to
follow.
InspecTech also indicated that they have designed their SPD
aircraft windows for quick and easy installation and expect only a
negligible labor increase to install these windows during an aircraft's
scheduled maintenance event, and that installation can also be done in
an aircraft outside of regularly scheduled maintenance events if the
customer wants SPD windows in their aircraft right away.

We also want to take this opportunity to thank InspecTech for their hard
work, dedication and focus in accomplishing so much of their product
development in the short two-month time period since they took their
license. We also want to thank our other licensees who have been working
with them to supply SPD film and other components, as well as our
licensees, shareholders and other companies who attended the Aircraft
Interiors Show or who met with us before and after the show.

Sincerely,

Research Frontiers Incorporated
