ETF are a scam - they are great if you are in and out for a quick move but if you buy an ETF on say Gold - and you hold the position - if you hold for a year and at the end of that year Gold is exactly the same price as it was when you bought it. YOU LOSE MONEY - your ETF price per share will be lower - be your position short or long - will not matter - that is a factor people do not know about
