Sonny52--You may have to clarify some of your terms for me.
I am not holding any position in TAVA but I did bring up HEPH as a target here. Bill Wexler evaluated the company financials and did what I concluded was some extensive DD on the claims for the companies drugs. He did not bring up HEPH for a target, I did but he sure didn't jump in blind. From my own research on TAVA and HEPH I have to conclude he does extensive and perceptive DD. This does not sound like an idiot to me and certainly not a fraud. Perhaps you are operating under some different definitions than Webster's or me.
Like it or not Bill Wexler seem very much a typical short to me in many respects, he does solid research, looks for vulnerable companies that show an Achilles heel that many of the longs fail to even acknowledge, and is market sharp. He does not target companies that seem to justify their valuation or are quality.
All the Best
