I always find it almost unbelievable that cancer can deal such a swift blow. I guess you could look at it from another perspective and say his passing so soon after being diagnosed was better than a lingering death like my Dad went through. He never went to the doc either. I feel so sorry for the family, but somehow I feel like he was such a strong influence in their lives............and I mean in a very good way........that they will be fine, and carry on the tradition of giving left by their father, husband and friend.
