The moment of silence is just a stalking horse - state sanctioned prayer in school

I know that's what they want. It's not clear to me how the opportunity to abuse the moment of silence would be significantly greater than to abuse the current school agenda, which the kids could interrupt at any time, so it seems unreasonable to me to deny such a harmless bone. I just can't bear to be unreasonable.

Now if what you're saying is that after they legalize the moment of silence, it's a slippery slope to sanctioned prayer, I take your point.
