I don't know if you were around in the 60s when most of the rivers in the US were dead, one caught fire, the Potomac was dead, now it's a Bass haven where they now have Bass tournies there. the air was terrible now it's pretty clean. The world's major polluter is China and they are exempt from Kyoto, something else is involved.
