Al Re..Do debts have a statute of limitations? That wasn't my point. My point was that France seems to wind up with Germany every 50 yrs or so, so why would you call it a just war for us to go rescue France, when the French themselves didn't seem to mind German occupation all that much. The US had to face down their fleet, and the provisional gov. fought on the side of the Germans. So while you are saying we shouldn't go to war, because not all of the Iraqis will treat us as liberators; remember that not all of the French did either.
