Hmmmmm
>top 20 stocks then a %filter of 480 stocks

With all the Index mutual funds adding to the volitility of the S/P500
Your idea may also have value. The top 20 get a lot of that money.
I wonder how Index funds Sell stocks?
Or do they ever Sell....there not Managed actively?

You'd like to get as close to the actual real movement as possible.
But this "true movement" might not reflect fast enough the top/bottom/reversal

I've noticed that when M-tines of forks are hit the market often pauses and
then moves off......to only reverse and break through. In following the
Advance numbers one can sometimes confirm which direction has muscle.
Especially when Advancers or Decliners are moving off a High or Low for
the Day.

Also when it comes to a target....the advances can confirm a reversal.
This is nothing new, but I hoped to find something that tracked the
S/P500....

The best way of course is to set up both Ideas and test them out.
Unfortuneatly, that would take me a long time.
I'm sure it could be done.
Thank You for the Suggestion.
