They walked, quacked, swam, dove, and did everything an unbased conclusion does.
And, by the way, it is quite possible you are correct in your judgment call. We'll have to wait and see.
The problem with judgment calls is that they are thoroughly informed by bias and desire. The more partisan the person making the call, the less likely it is correct.
