Ah, ATT is pushing the digital phone hard (phone over cable). Does this traffic run over the pipes that ATHM controls? In other words, does ATHM get any action from the cable telephone traffic ATT is pushing?

I am in Berkeley and ATT is really going all out in this area. A few months ago they did a quick door to door campaign. Now they are at it again. Everyone in my area has had a rep call on them in person. The rates are way better than WCOM or PacBell so I switched and I know some others that have. The real funny thing is that when I called the office they told me they could not handle the "roll over" features on a multi-phone line. Also they could not handle 800 numbers with digital phone. When the rep called his supervisor said no problem - ATT can handle anything. Just sign up.

I don't know what you think but it seems ATT is gaining ground with cable phone.
