If not for interleague play, the Reds would be in 1st place... the Reds simply cannot beat anyone in the AL... sheesh... I hate interleague play, not because of the Reds' lack of success, but because of the unfair implications the interleague games have on final standings wrt playoffs -- the scheduling is inherently unfair since teams only play a handful of teams from other league and luck of the draw pits some teams against the better teams and others draw the pushovers and it has a direct impact on the divisional standings.
