Mr. Michael England reports

ASHBURTON INTERSECTS LITHIUM ON ITS ELON CLAIMS IN CLAYTON VALLEY, NEVADA

Ashburton Ventures Inc. has received assay results from its recent work program on the 100-per-cent-owned Elon claims located in Clayton Valley, Nevada. Eleven samples were submitted to ALS Minerals in Reno, Nev., and all have come back with positive lithium numbers. The program consisted of surface sediment sampling from various locations across the property.

"We are extremely encouraged with the lithium results received to date. Our property is directly beside Pure's discovery and right beside the CV-6 hole recently completed by Pure. We are pleased now that Lithium-X has also acquired a large land package directly to our west to now completely enclose our property in between them and Pure. Management is encouraged by these initial results and is actively searching for additional property in the vicinity to increase shareholder value," stated Michael England, chief executive officer of Ashburton Ventures.

Aurora Geosciences Ltd. conducted the sampling on the property and submitted 11 samples from the Elon property to ALS Minerals in Reno, Nev., for analysis. The samples were crushed, split, a portion was pulverized and a one-gram aliquot analyzed by ALS Chemex method ME-MS61 (48 elements, including lithium, four-acid ICP-MS).
