I was born in 1964 in London. It's great that environmental policy actually works and hasn't "destroyed the economy" and cleans up the environment. And much of that policy wasn't very efficient from an economics point of view. So we just now need to apply more efficient environmental policies to the climate change issue. Yes, I'm a professor of economics and my specialty is environmental economics. Though I got a PhD in geography in fact and have done quite a bit of climate change modeling research using tools developed in econometrics...
