I've been hearing that for years -- at least ten. I'm of the opposite opinion: if they don't deal with it, it's going to kill them.

Even some demos are upset about it, but too cowed by their more pinkish friends to mention it.

The Reb. may be too afraid to touch it right now, but I don't see any other single issue that can rally the base.

If they don't energize the base, they ain't gonna like the results of the mid-terms.
