For us 1998 was the Year of the Helenator. She was born Jan 29. Now she's eleven months old, so tall I can touch her head without bending, and weighs some 25 pounds. She runs like a champ and is getting a real taste for trouble. (She reaches up to this keyboard with an unerring instinct for the Bad News Keys in the lower left corner.) She says "Hi" and is working on a couple of new words I think. 1998 was also the year of the Great Side Lot Anxiety. Boys on bikes came, made a royal pain of themselves, and months later woke up one fine morning to a chain link fence. This Spring will be the jackassid test of the fence.
