I was actually making a joke, not looking to initiate a BBQ vs. grilling type analysis.

Taking a broader view, teachers are in positions of trust vis a vis their students...in loco parenti as
they say. You have to admit that there's at least a tinge of irony when one who is charged with instructing and participating in the nurturing of a child
becomes, instead, a sexual predator.

But who cares about irony or no?
Both situations are bad news.
