You can't make a case for the slow response time. This is something Air Force pilots train for to exhaustion. Less than stellar performance in practice drills would leave them with their butts chewed off. This was not a practice drill, this was the real thing and they knew it.
Security at both airports where the planes left was controlled by an Israeli owned company.
When you look at the big picture there are too many places where competence at all levels had to break down completely in order for the attacks to be so successful. FBI investigations were stopped short, requests for warrants were denied, critical information was mishandled, the US President doesn't react, the response times of everyone involved was too slow to be credible, no CEOs are present in the building the day of the strikes, an Israeli company moves their 200 employees out of the building 2 weeks before the attacks, another Israeli company gets email to make themselves scarce on the morning of the attacks, top officials cancel their travel plans for the morning of the attack, the Bush administration starts taking anthrax medicine the next day, anthrax from Ft. Detrick shows up a few weeks later, and the list of evidence goes on and on.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume a lot of the information being presented is new to you. I started the same way and promise you I did not reach the conclusions I've come to lightly. If you're the kind of person who can sleep well without knowing the truth, I would suggest you turn away from this topic while you still can. Otherwise, you need to do some research to understand what happened and I'm sorry to say the truth will not be an easy burden to bear. |
