Craig, it's even more ridiculous than what you said. A 300% increase for five years would turn $5 M into $5 M * (1+3)^5 = $5.1 billion. I think you put a 4 in the exponent instead of a 5.

Of course compound returns are always lower than average returns, and he was only claiming an average return of 300%, so he would have to be worth something less than $5.1 B. ;-)

One thing is for sure. He didn't make 300% when he bought Syquest stock for $6 in October and sold it for about $2 in the last two weeks. And it is almost a sure thing that his warrants will never be worth anything either.
