What makes you think anyone would bother shorting this stock? There are thousands of more desperate stocks trading at extreme valuations that make much better candidates than a beat up, trading near lows stock sitting on some good ideas. It just doesn't make sense to short this stock, the odds don't favor it... but they do favor someone wanting or having to take out their money out.
