It seemed more like a political speech than a policy speech. Still, it's a good step that he has at least now joined the process and now everybody is talking about deficit action rather than making the problem worse with new spending. I wonder who will take the lead on the handling the details and the execution part? As we saw in the health care debate, Obama doesn't really do details.
