Hi Joe

Re The PC Week articles

There's that name again, Jamie Lewis. I really don't know what this guy's problem is - in all my time reading these message boards this is the first time that he's even attempted to be 'kind' to Novell. Upgrades to NetWare 4.x are one issue, but BorderManager is generating a hell of a lot of interest - I reckon they shouldn't be considered in the same camp. No chance of informing someone who's made up their mind(?) on their opinion. Any chance of informing Lewis of the difference, or is he willing to stumble along in his ignorance?

At this stage, maybe Novell should register the letters MS as a trademark, if they can. It's about the only way that bigots like Lewis would even consider spending time looking at the software.

Aside - How do you become an analyst? I remember a phrase from years ago, "Those who can do, will do. Those who can't, teach". Change that to "Those who know, know. Those who don't - analyse." If Mr. Lewis is the guru he makes himself out to be, is he making the money on the market that we'd all like to make? Or is he full of it? I have my own conslusion. If you're reading Jamie, how about getting in touch (xni11@dial.pipex.com) and we can talk about your problem?

Regards

Peter
