Thanks Mike: I would rather low ball the earnings than hype them out of proportion. But I would like to use an accurate figure that corresponds with the unofficial payback times that I've seen. As usual with NAE, we are playing detective, trying to develop information from shreds of details. Currently, the $300K figure does not fit their payback estimates, so it must be lower.

How difficult is it to drill one well to access two reservoirs as mentioned in their last release? How expensive are these wells?
<<On Dec. 1, 1997 the company will commence the drilling of 2 wells to the D Sands, 2 wells to the D Sands and Niobrara Formation and 2 wells to the Niobrara Formation for a total of six wells.>>

What the heck is a "down dip on the structure"? What are they doing here?
<<Well No. NX97323A: a Niobrara Formation test drilled to depth of 2,800-ft. flowed after a six day test at 208MSCF at 420psi through a 28/64-inch choke. This well is 40 ft. down dip on the structure and helps to determine the size of the reservoir. >>

As always, thanks for your help.
