Chris and Badger - ATI is the cellular spin-off of the old Pacific Bell. They got into technical standards wars - imagine that? Pac Bell was instrumental in getting TDMA through the Cellular Telephone Industry Association standards body and then fell in with Qualcomm to get CDMA through. Apparently the CDMA crowd went with ATI and the TDMA crowd went with Pacific Telesis. The rest is history as we saw it unfold on this thread... I thought for sure your tirade on nuclear free new Zealand, the French ship dip stuff, and pan-world communication (so everyone can talk even more about world politics and aggravate Ramsey Su) would get Maureece out. Maybe his exhibitionist days are over and he is just lurking over on the Misc thread.
