Whatever happened to the rumor about psft buying vntv? That would make sense to me since that is going to become a more obvious hole in the psft product line as this segment moves more and more to the forefront. Of the other big 4 erp vendors, (sap, baan and orcl) it appears that psft is the only one with no definitive plans in this area. I know that previously someone commented that psft r&d had made the statement that it would be easier to develop internally. First off, I doubt that very much. Secondly, there is the issue of time to market. Anyway, just my thoughts here. In other words, this would not surprise me in the least since psft already has an established relationship with vntv.
