Nothing? That is your solution? Don't you think democratic rule in Iraq might help?

What makes you think you're going to get a democracy? Better yet what makes you think the Iraqis are ready for democracy?

Or are you okay with leaving a mass murderer in charge. You must think that since it is a mess, we should leave it alone so we don't get stuck in a quagmire. But didn't you say that since the Israeli/Palestinian conflict was a mess, we should fix it?

I said we should stop supporting Israel at the exclusion of Palestine.

I truly don't understand your logic. Saddam kills 100,000, or 200,000 by one of your links (assumingly to eliminate a small percentage of 'terrorists'), including the indiscriminate rounding up of male Kurds and simply executing them, and your solution is, essentially, "What a mess. Leave me out of it."

That's not the issue....we are making a preemptive strike that will cost a fortune in money and good will for what......that whole region is so unstable and so fraught with petty jealousies that it will take decades to straighten it out. I want no part of it.

What would you think if Russia saw all the recent conflict between the US and Europe and decided to do a regime change in DC?
