Rumsfield is an embarrassment. He was Bush's mouthpiece and bad cop but that approach looks to have backfired. Now, Rumsfield is saying there are work-arounds........ To you he is an embarrassment. To me, he is a bright spot. Ultra intelligent, extremely fast thinking, yet careful. I'd say the best Secretary of Defense in my lifetime. In a word, brilliant. Yeah, its brilliant how he has the US paying $26 billion to Turkey to let us use them as a launching pad for the war. Its brilliant that agreement was never solidified and US warships are stacking in the Mediterranean waiting for some kind of signal. Its brilliant how he's managed to alienate two important allies. Isn't it funny how people see things differently? Actually, no......its sad that you call that behavior brilliance. ted
