While the US has EVERY RIGHT to "go it alone" I've yet to hear even a hint of a suggestion that we might do so. We have in excess of 30 countries supporting us. Not sure what you're complaining about.

Turkey's bluff has been called. We'll see what happens. Again, you can't apply your child-like analysis to complex problems such as these.

then you know our foreign policy is in a very bad way

Frankly, I think we're seeing the Bush administration in its finest hour with respect to foreign policy. After having our nation run by foreign nationals with deep pockets for 8 years, we're seeing a true American at work.
