"Samsung is #1 baby!"

Congratulations. But it comes at a cost. In 2010, Samsung's smartphone ASP was $391.30. Who know what it dropped to in 2011. They just recorded $15B in mobile revenue for Q4. That's across what, a hundred million phones? That figure might even include tablets for all I know. Regardless, let's say they sold 60 million dumbphones at $80 apiece, that leaves $10B for 36 million smartphones ($277 each). Samsung is becoming the Nokia of yesteryear, selling cheap smartphones to people who don't need smartphones.

The only number that's really relevant to Apple is how many high end phones did they sell (Galaxy S I/II, Galaxy Nexus, Droid Charge, etc). I'd guess that number is around 10 million.
