Re << Wealthy nations applaud their leaders’ covid-19 responses >>

Not only wealthy nations. At least one poor nation.

Spoke with ex-reflexologist friend this day in China and she reports societal optimism w/r to economy, consumer enthusiasm to return to traditional ways, and people happy w/ CoVid protocols that saved them. The heaven is kind, community tranquil, economy looking up, and a year passing quickly during which jobs done well. She lives with the flood zone but mentioned nothing and I forgot to ask.

Perhaps she is naive, and I am certainly forgetful.

She also reports that prices are tame, though pork up a bit.

Her biz now is a mom & pop rice wine making operation, so she should know, that rice plentiful at good pricing, and wine selling well.

About as roots-level as grassroots go. Her brother was my reflexologist before completing his traditional medicine training, and devoted more time to the task of speculation, and now, 5 kids, car, driver, clinic practice, herbal farm, property portfolio. A good story. She is also doing well.
